**** Manufacturing Design Engineer –
** Take Your Expertise to the Next Level
** What You’ll Do
*** Drive solutions for manufacturing issues and continuous improvement projects.
* Collaborate with production teams to develop actionable plans and implement corrective measures.
* Lead cross-functional efforts to address product-level challenges using proven problem-solving methods like 7-Step and 8D.
* Develop and refine manufacturing processes, operation sequences, and tooling requirements for new and existing product lines.
* Configure Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure alignment with factory needs.
* Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability.
* Interpret and update design drawings and models using CAD tools; apply mechanical considerations such as thermal and airflow analysis.
* Analyze manufacturing data using MES tools and statistical process control to drive design and process improvements.
* Support project planning with Gantt charts and milestone tracking.
* Travel opportunities (up to 25%) to collaborate with teams globally.
** What We’re Looking For
*** 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related fields.
* Solid understanding of fabrication processes (frame/rack, precision machinery, sheet metal, machined parts).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex data.
* Familiarity with CAD tools and basic project planning.
* Exposure to optical, electromechanical, or motion control systems is a plus.
* Knowledge of Matlab, JMP, LabVIEW, or scripting languages (Python) is a bonus.
* Comfortable presenting technical information and collaborating across teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Base Pay Range: $83,400.00 - $ Annually Primary
