Our client, a world leader in biotechnology, is looking for a “Failure analysis Engineer (electrical / PCBA)”based out of Milpitas, CA.
Job Duration:
Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $65/hr on W2

Key Responsibilities- Analyze, reverse engineer, diagnose, and troubleshoot defective PCBAs to support repair objectives.
- Develop detailed board repair plans, including technical approach, timelines, and dependencies.
- Troubleshoot PCBA issues with limited or no design documentation using critical thinking.
- Perform hands‑on debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and related tools.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring on‑time delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including junior and senior engineers.
- Communicate technical findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Support occasional international travel as required.
- Strong expertise in PCBA design analysis, reverse engineering, and board‑level troubleshooting.
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing complex electronic boards.
- Solid understanding of power supplies and electrical systems (preferred).
- Demonstrated perseverance in solving complex technical challenges.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Consistent track record of meeting deadlines.
