Job Description :
Pay Range: $37.40hr - $39.60hr
- The Associate Test Engineer 2 is responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies at the system level.
- This role involves developing and executing test procedures, analyzing results, performing rework as needed, and preparing technical reports.
- The position requires independent judgment in resolving moderately complex issues and may include mentoring peers and assisting with specialized test equipment setup.
- Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment.
- Experience with system-level development and testing, including creating requirements and test specifications.
- Ability to use fine adjustment hand tools, torque wrenches, and calipers.
- Prior experience testing digital and/or analog components and systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Technical Certificate, Associate degree, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at the system level.
- Develop methods and procedures based on blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems; complete rework as required.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.
- Assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
- Work on moderately complex assignments requiring independent judgment.
- Provide work direction and technical training to peers when necessary.
- Maintain organized documentation of test specifications and results.
- Experience using oscilloscopes and digital voltmeter analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Lab View, Linux, and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar discipline preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate across functional teams and locations.
- Ability to use various testing and measuring instruments effectively.
- Willingness to learn and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
- Technical Certificate, Associate degree, military technical training, or equivalent required.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field strongly preferred.
