- Apply failure physics principles to evaluate mechanical, electrical, and materials-related failure mechanisms.
- Conduct and participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA), and FRACAS investigations.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify reliability risks and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to ensure reliability best practices are incorporated early in product development.
- Support failure analysis, testing, and validation to improve manufacturing reliability and product robustness.
- 5–10 years of experience in reliability engineering, systems engineering, quality engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience working with large, complex manufacturing equipment or multi-component systems.
- Proficiency with Relia Soft tools, including Weibull++, Block Sim, and XFRACAS.
- Experience in semiconductor capital equipment, aerospace, automotive, industrial machinery, or other high-complexity equipment industries.
- Familiarity with manufacturing reliability and product lifecycle support.
- Experience with FRACAS and field failure data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
