Overview
Position: PLC Controls Engineer
Location:
Milpitas, CA 100% onsite (can be non-local who can relocate to California)
Duration: 12+ month contract
Domain- High end robotics, automation systems
- Interview: 1-2 video conference interview
- Electrical design focused primarily on control systems
- Some power distribution
- System interlocking
- Laser chiller control
- PLC-driven automation systems
- Hands-on involvement in lab / cleanroom
- PLC programming expertise (must-have)
- Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron (any accepted)
- Strong electrical design background
- Experience & Education
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
- PhD candidates acceptable with ~2 3 years experience
- Candidates experienced in one PLC system can adapt to others
Role is heavily focused on controls + automation
