Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a
** Senior PCBA Process Engineer
** located in
** Milpitas CA.
** Reporting to the
** Director, Operations Engineering**, the
** Senior PCBA Process Engineer
** be responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements to support a PCBA manufacturing organization.
** What a typical day looks like:
*** Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability (dfx study)
* Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production
* Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters
* Trouble shoot process related issues
* Participate to activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements
* Evaluate and select various engineered materials
* Implement statistical process reviews on new and existing products
* Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
* Improve manufacturing techniques and through put.
* Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities
* Review processing methods
* Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer
* Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer
* Manage cost improvement/reduction programs
** The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Process, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Processing
* 6 years of experience in Engineering in the high Technology Electronics industry Manufacturing
* 5 years of Manufacturing Production and Operations
* 4 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
* Experience Manufacturing Technology in a high volume highly automated setting.
* Advanced people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
* Excellent Excel and PowerPoint spreadsheet (PC), presentation and database software.#LI-YV1
