Job Summary & Responsibilities
- System Design & Modeling:
Utilize Zemax to design illumination and imaging paths, perform tolerancing, and analyze stray light. - Performance Optimization:
Create error budgets, conduct image simulations, and optimize laser beam propagation or optical coatings. - Experimental Validation:
Buildand align prototype optical systems in the lab, including laser and detector characterization. - Collaboration:
Work with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams to transition designs to manufacturing.
