EMC Engineer
Minimum 5 years of EMC experience in consumer electronics, medical devices, automotive or aerospace industry. Proficiency with Python programming. At least 3 years’ experience with EMC compliance test methodologies. At least 3 years’ experience with Linux terminal environment - commands, executing programs, compiling source code.
Preferred to have:
Experience with international EMC regulations, standards (including but not limited to CISPR, IEC/EN, ETSI, ISO, FCC) and test methods. Thorough understanding of factors influencing EMC including emissions/immunity/ESD/automotive transients and mitigating techniques. Skilled in EMC debug techniques and ability to accurately perform emissions and immunity testing.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Execute compliance EMC testing on PCBAs, sub-assemblies and vehicle level, including radiated and conducted emission, radiated and conducted immunity.
- Write python codes for device monitoring in Linux environment.
- Execute ESD testing and transient compliance tests on PCBAs, sub-assemblies.
- Troubleshoot non-conformance.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports for each test.
- Maintain EMC lab and schedule test equipment calibration.
- Work closely with the cross-functional team to ensure highest quality products and processes are developed and deployed.
- Debug EMC/EMI problems and deep dive into root causes.
