** Overview
* * We are seeking a Drafter/Designer to support a mechanical design engineering team in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This role will focus on creating detailed technical drawings, supporting product development efforts, and assisting with documentation processes.
** Responsibilities
* ** Provide drafting support to mechanical design engineers
* Create detailed drawings in Solid Works that accurately reflect engineering design intent
* Apply dimensions, GD&T, and technical notes to drawings
* Develop exploded views and support assembly-level documentation
* Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
* Support documentation processes, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
* Contribute primarily to new product development, with some support for updates to existing designs
** Required Qualifications
*** Strong proficiency in Solid Works, with a focus on drafting
* Ability to interpret and translate engineering concepts into clear, accurate drawings
* Experience creating assemblies, exploded views, and BOMs
* Familiarity with engineering documentation processes (ECOs, revision control, etc.)
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering teams
* Minimum of 5+ years of relevant drafting experience
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience working with complex assemblies, including reviewing and resolving design issues
