Drafter / Designer - Onsite Position

10 is currently seeking a Drafter / Designer for a leading technology firm located in Milpitas, CA. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. Pay rate:
Up to $42.13 an hour.

This role focuses on providing drafting support to mechanical design engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for Bill of Materials (BOM) generation and managing documentation through processes such as Engineering Change Orders (ECO).

Responsibilities:

• Provide drafting support to mechanical design engineers
• Generate exploded views and Bill of Materials (BOM) from assemblies
• Assist with documentation, including the ECO process

Requirements:

• Proficient with Solid Works drafting
• Capable of creating necessary views, dimensions, GDT and notes to reflect the design intent from the design engineers
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis
  10 employees will be considered for this position.

Desired skills:

• Understand model assembling
• Ability to help engineers find and clear errors in model assemblies
