Mechanical Engineer, Product Engineer, Systems Engineer
We're seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Project Manager (or Principal-level) to join our innovative product development team. You'll provide technical leadership, mentor juniors, and drive high-impact projects across robotics, life sciences, consumer hardware, networking, automated systems, medical devices, semiconductor equipment, and more.
If you've successfully guided at least two complex electromechanical products from early concept through to full production release — while leading cross-functional teams (including external partners/suppliers) and interfacing directly with clients — we want to talk!
Key Responsibilities:- Mentor junior engineers and offer technical leadership across multiple projects
- Partner with clients to capture requirements, brainstorm innovative solutions, and define product roadmaps
- Collaborate closely with Industrial Design, UX/UI, and Electrical Engineering teams to refine and realize product visions
- Perform critical mechanical analyses (tolerance, FEA/CFD, fluidics, heat transfer, shock & vibration — experience in at least 3 areas required)
- Create detailed designs, documentation, and production-ready packages
- Manage vendor relationships for prototyping, tooling, and manufacturing
- Test/evaluate prototypes, tooling, and first articles; generate project/technical reports
Qualifications:
- BSME required (MSME strongly preferred)
- 8+ years hands-on mechanical engineering design & development experience
- Proven track record managing 2+ complex electromechanical products end-to-end (concept → production) — this is NON-NEGOTIABLE
- Experience leading interdisciplinary teams, including external partners/suppliers
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Demonstrated success in diverse industries: robotics, life sciences/medical devices, consumer products, networking hardware, automated systems, semiconductor, etc. — variety of projects is a big plus!
- Hands-on expertise designing injection-molded, sheet metal, and machined components
- Proficient in Solid Works (Creo experience a bonus); skilled at preparing engineering docs for production release
- On-the-job experience in at least three of: tolerance analysis, FEA/CFD, fluidics design, heat transfer, shock & vibration
- 4 weeks PTO to start (plus holidays and more)
- ...and additional competitive perks!
If you're a versatile leader who's passionate about turning cutting-edge concepts into real-world products across multiple industries, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact.
