Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support our monthly and quarterly close processes, inventory reserve analysis, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare month‑end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and close deliverables, including the calculation and validation of 1
MDF and Channel Inventory reserves. - Lead monthly meetings with Business Unit Finance to review and explain the Future Channel Inventory Reserve Rate.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly inventory reserve results and provide insights to management.
- Prepare quarter‑end lookback analyses related to channel inventory reserves.
- Manage the accrual and reconciliation process for 1
MDF spending. - Support SOX compliance activities and respond to internal and external audit PBC requests.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and control enhancements.
- Partner with IT and cross‑functional stakeholders to implement improvements to system reports, workflows, and analytics capabilities.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting or revenue experience, preferably in high‑tech or related industries.
PREFERRED:
- Experience with distributor and retail revenue transactions within the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Experience with SAP and Power Business Intelligence is a plus.
SKILLS:
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities required.
- Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition fundamentals.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain strong attention to detail, deliver high‑quality work, and meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to achieve results in a fast‑moving, dynamic environment. They will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling them to absorb and convey key data and concepts to cross‑functional teams at all levels of the organization. The ability to prioritize workload effectively, offer guidance to team members, and consistently deliver high‑quality work under strict deadlines is essential.
