Overview

USI/Asteelflash is actively looking for a highly organized and talented Human Resources Administrator to help support the HR activities at our location in Milpitas, CA. The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources operations with a secondary focus on Benefits/Learning and Development Support. This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities
  • Support recruiting and staffing activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communications.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including responding to employee inquiries and supporting issue resolution.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist supervisors and managers with performance management processes and documentation.
  • Support HR audits, compliance reviews, and required reporting.
  • Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Benefits Support
  • Provide administrative support for employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Assist with employee communications related to benefits and open enrollment.
  • Respond to routine employee benefit inquiries and elevate complex issues as appropriate.
  • Support accurate benefit record maintenance in the HRIS system.
  • Coordinate with vendors and brokers as directed.
Learning and Development Support
  • Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination and logistics.
  • Assist with scheduling, tracking, and documentation of employee training programs.
  • Support onboarding and compliance-related training efforts.
  • Assist with learning management system (LMS) updates and recordkeeping, if applicable.
Requirements

Education /

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an HR Generalist or equivalent.

  • Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Flexibility, team orientation, ability and willingness to learn.

  • Familiar with HRIS Systems (ADP).
