Project / Program Manager IV – Enterprise Data & AI Programs

Location: Milpitas, CA (Onsite, With some flexibility for Hybrid)

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Pay Rate: 98 - 103/hour W2

About the Opportunity

Join a global technology leader headquartered in Milpitas, California, as part of a high-visibility enterprise Data & AI transformation program. This role will be responsible for driving execution, governance, and delivery across a growing portfolio of strategic initiatives focused on data platforms, analytics, AI enablement, and enterprise technology modernization.

What You ll Do

As the Project / Program Manager, you will serve as the operational leader across multiple work streams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and execution excellence throughout the program lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive end-to-end planning and execution across multiple concurrent projects and strategic initiatives
  • Define and manage program roadmaps, milestones, deliverables, and execution plans
  • Establish ownership and accountability across cross-functional teams
  • Identify, manage, and resolve risks, dependencies, blockers, and execution gaps
  • Lead program governance activities, including RAID management, action tracking, and status reporting
  • Maintain visibility into overall program health, timelines, and delivery progress
  • Partner with engineering, data, infrastructure, business, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and execution
  • Facilitate program reviews, stakeholder meetings, executive updates, and decision-making forums
  • Drive Jira governance, including backlog management, epic and story structure, sprint alignment, reporting, and delivery tracking
  • Support prioritization and intake of new initiatives while balancing capacity and business objectives
  • Develop executive-ready dashboards, presentations, and management-by-exception reporting
  • Translate complex technical initiatives into clear business-focused updates for leadership audiences
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams and serve in a Product Owner capacity when needed
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Project and/or Program Management experience leading large-scale, cross-functional enterprise initiatives
  • Proven experience managing Data Platform, AI, Analytics, Cloud, or Enterprise Technology programs
  • Strong expertise with Jira, including backlog management, reporting, governance, epic/story creation, and Agile delivery practices
  • Demonstrated experience driving program execution discipline through dependency management, RAID tracking, and governance processes
  • Experience managing programs across globally distributed teams, including stakeholders in the US, EMEA, and APAC
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and ambiguity
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics initiatives
  • Background working within large-scale PMO organizations
  • Experience leading digital transformation or enterprise modernization programs
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise data ecosystems, and modern technology environments
  • Experience serving as a Product Owner or translating business requirements into execution-ready work streams

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive program leader who combines strong technical program management capabilities with executive presence and exceptional communication skills. They have successfully delivered complex enterprise technology initiatives, understand how to navigate large organizations, and can effectively influence stakeholders without direct authority.

They bring experience managing enterprise Data & AI programs, are highly proficient with Jira and program governance, and have a track record of driving accountability across multiple teams and work streams. Most importantly, they are comfortable operating in environments where priorities evolve quickly and can bring clarity, structure, and momentum to complex initiatives.
