Technical Project Manager (TPM) – Onsite-Sandisk

Location:
Onsite (5 days/week)-Milpitas, CA
Employment Type:
W2 Rate: $85/hour on W2
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager (TPM) supporting Data Engineering/Data Platform teams.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and practical experience leveraging AI tools in daily project execution.
- Candidates with experience in the semiconductor industry are highly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional enterprise environment.
- Serve as the Scrum Master for the engineering team.
- Drive sprint execution, team progress, and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Create project status reports, dashboards, and maintain project documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
- Follow up on action items and proactively remove project blockers.
System & Data Literacy
- Strong understanding of:
- Data platforms and data engineering concepts
- Application architecture
- Data warehouses
- Cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on software development experience is not required, but candidates should be technically fluent enough to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
- Comfortable using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve efficiency.
- Able to leverage AI for:
- Documentation
- Communication
- Meeting summaries
- Project planning
- General productivity tasks
