Our client, a world leader in semiconductor manufacturing, is looking for a Data Specialist (Data Validation) based out of Milpitas, CA.
Job Duration:
Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $29/hr on W2

Summary:
Reviewing and entering historical evidence into a web-based evidence system, as well as assisting with logging additional evidence. This process will require reviewing hard disks and the content stored within and confirming that the data matches historical reports. Additionally, new evidence must be handled following best evidence management practices and following all legal and compliance policies and procedures. This role does not necessarily require experience in related fields as long as the candidate has the required knowledge set to perform the job (i.e
data entry, data validation, and working with hard drives and disc images).
- Review digital evidence stored on hard drives and ensure the data matches inventory log.
- Prepare Excel documents following specific templates to upload to a web-based evidence management system.
- Review data entered into the web-based evidence system to ensure upload accuracy.
- Verify that the documentation and electronic devices match what is reported and what is received.
- Enter high-volume data from documentation (e.g., employee names and identifiers) and handwriting into a computer application used for tracking purposes.
- Enter high-volume data from electronic devices (e.g., make, model, serial number) and handwriting into a tracking application.
- Identify inconsistencies in documentation or devices and communicate these issues with relevant personnel.
