Job Description:
Primary responsibilities Work as part of development team to help build infrastructure, software, and processes for Windows OS remote upgrade on Omnicell IoT devices. Required knowledge and skills
- In-depth understanding of Windows operating systems, including installation, upgrade, driver management, configuration, virtualization, custom shell development, and OS imaging.
- Ability to script and automate tasks using Windows Power Shell.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving both server-side and client-side issues.
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts, such as DHCP and DNS, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience authoring documentation for end-users and/or field engineers.
Basic requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant experience
Preferred knowledge and skills
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Task Sequence (TS).
- Experience working with virtualized Windows environments.
- Experience installing and upgrading Microsoft SQL server software.
