Senior Data Engineer

Senior Staff Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and modernizing enterprise data platforms across cloud and on-prem environments. The role focuses on data architecture, lakehouse platforms, data engineering, governance, analytics, and AI/ML solutions.

KEY SKILLS

• 9+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, and analytics delivery.
• Strong experience building modern data platforms across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Expertise in Databricks/Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Iceberg, or equivalent.
• Strong Python, SQL, Spark, and orchestration framework skills.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, Fivetran, and cloud platforms including Snowflake/Big Query.
• Strong data modeling experience including ERD, dimensional, 3NF, star/snowflake, and canonical models.
• Experience with data governance, metadata, lineage, data catalogs, access controls, and data quality.
• Experience with Azure/GCP data pipelines and heterogeneous data sources including ERP, CRM, IoT, and APIs.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience integrating AI/ML and GenAI solutions into data platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, version control, and platform automation.
• Ability to provide architectural guidance, mentor engineers, and collaborate with technical and business teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• 15+ years of experience including solution architecture for large-scale data initiatives.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management, data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Data Ops and Dev Ops experience.
• Experience in engineering, sales, finance, supply chain, or semiconductor domains.
• Knowledge of SAP and SAP-BDC.
