Job Title:Supply Chain Intern

Advantech is on the search for a Supply Chain Intern to work out of our Milpitas, CA office. You’ll step into a fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact supporting inventory planning, transportation coordination and cross-functional collaboration. • Support inventory planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and work scheduling to ensure timely material availability and production flow.
• Maintain pricing data and perform statistical analysis to support cost control and informed decision-making.
• Coordinate global transportation and logistics activities to support inbound and outbound shipments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and other departments to align supply chain activities.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders regarding supply chain status, timelines, and requirements.
• Support data accuracy and basic database management related to inventory, pricing, and supply chain reporting.
• Perform additional supply chain–related tasks and projects as assigned.

• Working knowledge of supply chain operations, inventory management, and material planning processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support reporting or dashboards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including basic presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

• Currently pursuing or received a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems; SAP (MM and PP integration) preferred.
• General understanding of computer hardware and related components.
• Familiarity with database concepts and data management.
