The Account Director is accountable for developing and implementing an account plan that delights clients, ensures a healthy long‑term relationship, anticipates client needs, delivers on key performance indicators, and builds financial plans to exceed revenue and profitability. He/she creates and manages high‑performing teams that deliver operational excellence while keeping employees engaged and thriving.
Major Activities and Responsibilities:- Delivery of Client Satisfaction
- Establish the vision and strategy of the account plan ensuring alignment with the client's objectives and interests.
- Drive the account plan to deliver high‑quality results that exceed the client's expectations.
- Become a reference for best‑in‑class service delivery.
- Recognize opportunities for account growth, articulate the value proposition, and ensure its implementation across the platform.
- Builds and Manages High Performing Teams
- Ensure the best‑qualified candidate is hired for all roles on the account.
- Thoroughly and critically assess direct reports and their underlying team.
- Develop actionable and measurable career development plans for each direct report and maintain consistent progress conversations.
- Advance the firm's diversity and inclusion priorities through hiring, rotation, and promotion.
- Provide point‑in‑time coaching to elevate performance.
- Achieve Financial Results
- Manage account financials to ensure plans are met or exceeded in both growth and profitability.
- Retain all current business lines and expand the book of business with the client to extend beyond existing product lines or geography.
- Mitigate risk for the organization by ensuring accounts receivable are maintained.

- Bring leading practices and/or innovations to the organization.

- Firm Knowledgeable
- Understand the fundamentals of the outsourcing business and the real estate industry.
- Know various products our business offers and identify within the account plan the levers for opportunity.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA is desirable.
- Eight or more years of progressive experience in commercial real estate, including retail property management, with multiple property responsibilities preferred. In‑depth understanding of the financial aspects of site performance.
- Maintain the highest professional standards, build trust and respect, and provide superior client service through listening, anticipation of needs, delivering value, and supporting long‑term success.

- Demonstrate the ability to think broadly, create a shared vision, and embrace change as an opportunity.
Location:
On‑site – Milpitas, CA.
