Operation Manager

Position Overview

The Operation Manager is responsible for owning day-to-day site operations across office and laboratory. This role ensures that facilities, vendors, compliance workflows, and workplace infrastructure fully support research, development, and commercialization objectives. The Operation Manager acts as the operational backbone of the organization, enabling efficient execution without disruption.

• Facilities Operations
• Own daily operations of office and laboratory facilities
• Coordinate building maintenance, janitorial services, and facility vendors
• Manage space planning, lab setup, and infrastructure adjustments
• Oversee badge access, site security, emergency procedures, and safety standards
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and operational SOPs
• Identify and resolve logistical bottlenecks impacting project timelines
• Vendor & Budget Management
• Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and purchasing processes
• Oversee accounts payable and operational expense tracking
• Support cost control and vendor performance optimization
• Compliance & Workplace Readiness
• Maintain EHS workflows and compliance documentation
• Support internal audits and regulatory readiness (facilities scope)
• Ensure onboarding logistics, workspace setup, and site access readiness
• Maintain safety standards and visitor protocols
• Executive & Team Support
• Coordinate executive site visits, partner meetings, and board visits
• Plan company events, workshops, and team offsites
• Foster a high‑functioning and people‑centered workplace environment

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or biotech site operations
• Strong vendor management and budget oversight experience
• Experience supporting research or laboratory environments preferred
