Technical Project Manager
Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire Technical Project Manager opportunity located in Milpitas, CA.
Job Responsibilities- Work closely with all cross‑functional teams to support the creation, continual driving, and tracking of the master project plan and schedule.
- Manage mission‑critical projects within the schedule to bring the product to market successfully and efficiently.
- Lead project meetings and identify and document results and actions.
- Resolve conflicts and drive effective decisions.
- Create and support effective communications of data and progress with respect to milestones.
- On‑site engineering project management at engineering builds in Asia.
- Manage project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Manage key business units to meet critical phase milestones on time and on budget.
- Manage engineering build, DOEs, and design reviews across worldwide customer sites.
- Develop cross‑functional management tools to better integrate team members worldwide.
- B.S. in Engineering preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in leading and managing product development.
- Planning and scheduling rapid development and a strong understanding of project planning strategies.
- Experience with product definition and specification.
- Experience with management or performing testing and debugging of hardware and software.
- Experience in qualifying parts and systems for mass production preferred.
- Experience with offshore manufacturing is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft SharePoint or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel overseas.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent decision‑making skills.
- Ability to understand technical challenges in detail.
- Experience with matrix management.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and people management skills, including fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese.
