REPORTS TO:
OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGER
Under the direction of the Operations Support Manager, the Material Handler is responsible for completing the Asset Tracking System (ATS) forms for equipment and tool repairs or cleaning; reviewing and issuing credits for material transfers; researching and identifying new or alternate suppliers; preparing and pulling Preventative Maintenance (PM) kits; tracking and maintaining inventory levels; and organizing, issuing, and monitoring purchase requisitions.
This position is located in Milpitas, California.
- Review and complete ATS forms for equipment/tool repairs or cleaning.
- Review and issue credits for material transfers, including tracking and issuing purchase requisitions and responding to inquiries from other teams.
- Research and source new or alternate suppliers for parts or equipment; recommend appropriate action.
- Prepare and pull PM kits for scheduled and unscheduled tool/equipment maintenance.
- Track, monitor, and receive parts and/or materials to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Unpack thuis and verify them against work orders, purchase orders, invoices, return authorizations, or other documentation.
- Perform cycle counts, transaction audits, and investigate and resolve material discrepancies.
- Respond to inquiries from employees, managers, and other departments.
- Load and unload materials, parts, or other inventory items using a forklift and/or pallet jack.
- Work overtime as required based on business needs.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three years of experience as a Material Handler or Production Control Specialist.
- Knowledge of kitting, pulling, and staging parts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Knowledge of material handling, pulling or kitting parts, and maintaining parts inventories.
- Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving and ability to receive and ship various types of materials, parts, and other inventory when required.
- Able to track, monitor, and source parts or tools to maintain appropriate inventory.
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of contractors, consultants, employees, management, and vendors.
- Able to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management.
- Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit tact and professionalism at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to follow complex verbal or written instructions.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

The hourly rate for this full‑time position is between $25.00–$45.00, plus a bonus target and benefits. The hourly pay may vary with additional factors such as job responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience.
Working ConditionsThe Material Handler works primarily indoors on a rotating C shift (Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM). The schedule may be altered from time to time to meet business or operational needs; travel between buildings may be required; and pickup of parts or inventory from local suppliers might be necessary. The role involves standing, walking, fine grasping movements, bending, twisting, operating a forklift and/or pallet jack, using a computer, entering information, using a phone, and other safety and office equipment.
Lifting or pushing 50 pounds may becerte. Other duties of a similar Telefon are possible.
