Overview
A Day in Your Life at MKS:
We are looking for an Optics Cleaner who will be responsible for handling, cleaning and inspecting various substrate materials, checking surfaces to be free of particles using high intensity light illumination and microscope inspection. Loading substrates into fixturing prior to coating mirrors, lens, prisms, crystal windows.
- Review prints to check physical dimensions and follow cleaning instructions/processes.
- Load and unload precision substrates from cleaning and coating fixturing.
- Inspect optics pre and post coat.
- Document record keeping and update reports in database.
- Maintain a 6S work environment and perform daily tasks inside a controlled environment using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Motor skills and ability to hold small parts with provided tooling.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Attention to detail, visual acuity, and manual dexterity.
- Experience cleaning and inspecting Ti‑Sa, BBO, LBO crystal substrates and knowledge of thin film coating process.
- Experience with ultrasonic clean line, UVO cleaning compensation.
Hourly Pay Range: $21.73 – $36.21 per hour.
Bonus:
Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
