Touch Up Rework Operator

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing supporting medical devices and defense applications, is seeking a dedicated Touch Up Rework Operator to join their team. As a Touch Up Rework Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production team. Shift:

• Perform hand soldering and touch-up rework for SMT and through-hole components, including jumper wires, following IPC-A-610 standards.
• Execute rework based on Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Process Deviations, and MPI instructions using appropriate solder and flux types (Leaded/Lead-Free, clean or no-clean processes).
• Install and hand solder all second operation and SMT parts as required per MPI and deviation procedures.
• Adapt to working on various SMT and T/H components as needed to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to ESD, board handling, and safety practices.

• 1-2 years of practical manufacturing experience with soldering irons.
• Experience performing touch-up and rework on SMT components.
• Experience performing touch-up and rework on thru-hole components.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, BOMs, MPI, and component values.
• Experience working with medical devices or defense products is preferred.
