Consultant - Semiconductor Manufacturing

The consultant will perform advanced hands-on manufacturing operations in a cleanroom environment, supporting the production of semiconductor components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.

This role works closely with engineers on equipment setup, calibration, troubleshooting, rework, and quality testing. They will handle delicate wafer materials, operate lab equipment, and follow strict cleanroom, ESD, and quality standards while maintaining high productivity and precision.

Responsibilities
  • Perform thin film deposition processes on semiconductor wafers.
  • Operate measurement and metrology equipment using established process recipes.
  • Review process results and make recipe or process adjustments as required.
  • Carefully handle semiconductor wafers while maintaining strict contamination control standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, wafers, and process-related issues independently.
  • Complete the full manufacturing process, including documentation, quality certifications (QCNs), and Excel-based records.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure data integrity.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, quality standards, and inventory controls to support audit readiness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to clean room protocols.
Experience
  • 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing or clean room experience required.
  • Experience working with semiconductor wafers and clean room manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Wafer handling techniques
    • Clean room protocols
    • Gowning procedures
    • Contamination control practices
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent hand dexterity.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
