This position supports the wafer calibration process for sensor and semiconductor products. The role involves operating in a manufacturing environment, focusing on setting up, running, and monitoring calibration equipment. The candidate will perform inspections, collect data, and report results as part of a manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the wafer calibration process for sensor and semiconductor products.
- Perform visual inspection of wafers.
- Set up wafers and products into fixtures and calibration equipment.
- Load and run equipment to collect calibration data.
- Perform basic data analysis and document results.
- Utilize computer tools such as Excel and email for daily tasks.
Required Qualifications
Education:
An Associate degree in electronics or a related field is preferred. A high school diploma is acceptable with 3-5+ years of relevant manufacturing or electronics experience.
Experience:
A minimum of two years of manufacturing experience is required. Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
Skills
- Basic computer literacy, including Excel and email within a Windows environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Background in wafer inspection or calibration.
- Experience with PCB assembly.
- Light soldering experience, limited to simple wire soldering.
- Familiarity with inspection tools such as microscopes or volt meters.
