Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for an Associate Test Engineer I
-Optical/Mechanical/Opto-Mechanical based in Milpitas, CA.
Job Duration:
Long Term Contract(Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate : $34/hr on W2
Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K
Responsibilities- Responsible for performing the set-up, optical alignment, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting ofoptical systems, circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
- Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
- May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems because of testing
. - May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
- Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- High School, ASEET,BSEET or BSEE and a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience is required.
- Works on assignments that are extremely complex in nature where independent action and a high degreeof initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
- Assembly experience
- Experience working withhand tools is highly preferred
