Milpitas, CA
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Shift: Various shifts
Keep Quality Tight and Production Moving. If you ve got sharp eyes and take pride in doing it right, this Quality Control Inspector role in Milpitas has your name on it. You ll inspect, measure, and ensure every product meets specifications before it hits the floor.
Responsibilities- Perform visual inspection of electronic cards, sub-assemblies, and systems to ensure products meet established specifications for reliability and workmanship.
- Utilize gauges, templates, microscopes, and other inspection aids to verify specifications.
- Ensure all required process operations have been performed on inspected products.
- Enter quality data into appropriate electronic or manual systems.
- Notify appropriate personnel if unusual defects are identified or if process yields fall below acceptable levels.
- Provide timely feedback to manufacturing when non-conforming products are identified.
- Accurately complete administrative activities related to quality inspection.
- Perform process audits and assist manufacturing with interpretation of quality and workmanship standards.
- Assist with disposition of all non-conforming materials/products.
- Experience in a clean room or controlled manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of clean room entry/exit procedures, gowning protocols, and contamination control practices.
- Ability to properly use clean room garments (gowns, gloves, masks, goggles, hair covers).
- Understanding of particle contamination prevention and unidirectional flow paths.
- Ability to follow strict manufacturing procedures and ESD requirements.
- Experience with optical measurement systems, metrology equipment, or vision-based inspection tools.
- Ability to run preprogrammed measurement routines and review dimensional measurement results.
- Familiarity with fixtures and part positioning tools used for inspection.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with tight tolerances.
- Ability to perform repetitive precision tasks with consistency and accuracy.
