We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager 2 to lead quality systems, assurance programs, continuous improvement, and customer/regulatory quality activities within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality assurance programs.
- Manage and develop quality teams, establish operating procedures, goals, controls, and performance standards.
- Interface directly with customers on technical quality issues, corrective actions, and improvement initiatives
. - Lead and coordinate customer, regulatory, and compliance audits
. - Review quality and technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on new product quality assurance and production quality issues.
- Manage supplier/vendor quality activities, including supplier performance and material/component quality.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality improvement initiatives
. - Prepare and present quality reports, recommendations, and program updates to senior management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of Quality Systems / Quality Assurance experience
. - Previous Quality Management / Managerial experience
. - 5+ years of Electromechanical Integration and/or PCB Assembly experience
. - 3+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience
. - Experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems
. - Strong experience with Customer and Regulatory Audits
. - Experience resolving customer-facing technical and quality issues.
- Strong cross-functional communication and leadership skills.
- Supplier Quality Management and vendor performance experience.
- New Product Quality Assurance / NPI experience.
- Compliance and regulatory experience.
- Compliance training experience.
- Experience presenting quality metrics and recommendations to senior management.
