Overview

Assistant Store Director of Customer Experience at Saks OFF 5TH. Under the Store Director, supports execution of front‑of‑house priorities, maintains selling floor service and merchandising standards, and coaches associates to meet key performance indicators.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule cashiering team for optimal coverage.
  • Manage line leader and associate shifts, ensuring registers are staffed.
  • Maintain neat, clean floor standards and fast‑to‑floor merchandise movement.
  • Coach associates on fast‑to‑floor return processes.
  • Drive loyalty enrollment and Saks First acquisition.
  • Act as primary Connected Service Coach during peak traffic.
  • Train walkie‑talkie usage for flexible coverage.
  • Resolve customer concerns or refer to management as needed.
Qualifications
  • College associate diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume or proven track record.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proven sales track record and results‑driven approach.
  • Strong time‑management skills.
  • Demonstrated high standard of customer service.
  • Fashion industry knowledge and passion.
  • Ability to operate POS, radios, scanners, and sensor removers.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Salary & Benefits

Starting salary $69,000–$73,000 annually, with potential bonus. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), basic life, supplemental life, disability, and additional voluntary benefits. Position is not remote from Washington State.
