Retail Store Supervisor in Training – Milpitas, CA
Hourly Rate: $23.00 / hour. Starting at $23/h with a clear path to promotion opportunities every 3 months based on individual performance.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Supervisor in Training is the pace setter and role model for customer service in the store. Their key function is to ensure all Sales Associates in their respective department or zone exceed customer expectations and to help train, oversee, and develop Sales Associates on store standards.
Key Responsibilities- Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Supervise the floor to monitor breaks and ensure coverage during peak times according to daily work schedules.
- Ensure brand and operational standards (visual, cleanliness, cash management, inventory management, etc.) are consistently met.
- Ensure the team proactively manages customer needs and exceeds expectations according to the UNIQLO service standard, Fundamental Principles, and the 6 Standard Phrases.
- Train and develop the team on fitting room and cash wrap standards, and assist when needed in those zones.
- Manage inventory by ensuring all merchandise is represented and replenished on the floor in full size runs.
- Assist management to identify issues in the store.
- Train the team on product and brand knowledge and ensure product knowledge is conveyed to customers.
- Follow all company policy and procedures and notify management of any infractions.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Ability to train and develop a team with strong communication skills.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including evenings and weekends.
- Full‑time availability: average 32 or more hours per week based on business seasonality.
- Restrictions on availability limited to three (3) days with only one (1) restriction permitted Friday–Sunday (religious exemptions will be considered). Of the three (3) restrictions permitted, at least one (1) restriction must be time‑based. Both days off must be within the same workweek (Monday–Sunday). All full‑time employees must be available for a minimum of a five‑day workweek.
