Enterprise Sales Account Manager
Silicon Motion (Nasdaq: SIMO) is a leading supplier of NAND storage solutions for a wide array of applications from Edge computing, embedded storage, automotive and Data Center/Enterprise. We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, experienced Enterprise Sales Account Manager to join our US Sales team, driving sales efforts into the specified enterprise accounts in the U.S.. This position requires a unique blend of successful sales, business development and account management experience with U.S. Enterprise and Hyperscaler ecosystem for Silicon Motion’s Enterprise solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven successful track record in sales and business development in the Enterprise and Data Center NAND storage with extensive connections.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with targeted enterprise, hyperscaler, and large data center customers, driving new account penetration and long-term partnership growth.
- Own end-to-end sales cycle for turnkey SSD boot drive solutions, including prospecting, technical engagement, PoC/qualification, design-in, and mass production ramp.
- Understand customer data center server architecture and boot storage requirements, deliver tailored solution proposals to secure design wins and recurring volume business.
- Act as the primary customer interface and coordinate cross-functional resources including FAE, product, engineering, and supply chain to resolve technical and delivery issues.
- Lead commercial negotiation, pricing review, and contract execution while ensuring healthy margin and compliance with company policy.
- Build and maintain accurate sales pipeline, provide reliable forecast, and achieve quarterly and annual revenue/design-win targets.
- Track data center market trends, competitor activities, and customer roadmaps, and provide market feedback to support product and sales strategy optimization.
- Continuously expand account footprint by upselling and penetrating new projects within existing key data center and cloud customers.
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of combined sales, business development, account management experience.
- Self-starter with a hunter mindset, consistently taking initiative to prospect, network and drive growth.
- Proven track record in semiconductor sales in the NAND memory and storage sector, especially SSD for Enterprise and Data Centers.
- Strong understanding of NAND, storage and semiconductor technology and trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work with marketing, business development, engineering and other sales teams.
