As an Associate Account Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of customer accounts while helping drive sales growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term business relationships. You will own key account management processes, including sales forecasting, customer reporting, pipeline tracking, quotation coordination, and revenue planning, while leveraging internal systems to maintain accurate customer information. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams—including engineering, production, and global colleagues in Japan and Singapore—you will help deliver timely solutions and execute strategic sales initiatives.
Success in this role requires strong communication, organization, commercial awareness, and a collaborative mindset, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Support management of assigned customer accounts and serve as a primary and/or secondary point of contact.
- Partner with internal teams including engineering, production, and overseas teams in Japan and Singapore to support customer requirements and resolve issues.
- Assist with execution of sales strategies to support revenue growth and customer retention goals.
- Monitor sales activity and prepare regular reports, including weekly updates, forecasts, and monthly presentations.
- Identify and follow up on new business opportunities and customer leads.
- Coordinate with factory teams on quotation requests, pricing, and proposal preparation.
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and industry events with guidance from senior team members.
- Build product and industry knowledge to effectively support customer discussions and technical inquiries.
- Maintain accurate customer records, communication logs, and pipeline updates in internal systems alongside quarterly inventory counts at warehouses
- Collaborate effectively across global teams and participate in meetings across multiple time zones as needed.
- Own and execute revenue targets for assigned accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Open to fresh graduates
- 3 years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, or a related customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Commercial awareness and ability to support sales initiatives and business growth
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
- Ability to work in an on-site/hybrid environment in the Bay Area.
- Flexibility to participate in meetings with global teams, including Asia time zones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- International travel to Singapore and/or Japan as needed for trainings
