Compensation: $115,000 - $145,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
About the Opportunity
LHH Recruitment is seeking a driven Technical Sales Manager to lead account management and business development efforts throughout the Bay Area in California. This is an exciting opportunity for a consultative sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering technical solutions to customers in advanced manufacturing and industrial markets.
This role will be based in Milpitas, CA with a hybrid schedule and travel throughout the region to meet with clients, prospects, and industry partners. The ideal candidate will have experience selling technical products or solutions in a B2B environment, with semiconductor industry exposure highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to drive revenue and market share across Southern California.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, electronics, OEM, and related technical industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, engineers, procurement teams, operations leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Conduct onsite client visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and technical sales discussions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and ongoing account management.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and customer support teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular forecasting and territory updates.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings to increase market presence and generate leads.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies within the territory.
- Utilize CRM tools to track activity, maintain customer records, and manage sales performance metrics.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B outside sales experience selling technical products, equipment, services, or solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Experience managing a geographic territory and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Southern California to meet with customers and prospects.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Experience selling into the semiconductor industry or supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations.
- Background working with industrial equipment, manufacturing technologies, automation, capital equipment, engineering services, precision components, or related technical products.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience selling to engineers, operations leaders, manufacturing managers, or technical decision-makers.

- Competitive base salary of $115,000 - $145,000
