Security Officer - Logistics Communications Desk

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.;
Operate the dispatch post by monitoring phones, radios, and alarm and/or camera systems, assigning officers to calls for service, and coordinating responses to incidents as needed.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns through the chain of command.;
Support access control and traffic flow by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and tracking inbound and outbound deliveries and yard activity.;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions, completing required reports, and communicating updates to management and on-duty staff.
