As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Milpitas, CA

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour
Job Schedule- Tue: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Wed: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Thur: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Fri: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sat: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with on-site personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Monitor dispatch communications, document activity, and relay information regarding incidents, service requests, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and status updates to help support daily operations, incident follow-up, and/or coordinated response efforts.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
