Patrol Officer - Overnight Shift

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Guard in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access and site activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

This is a driving post, requiring patrol-related driving as part of your responsibilities. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will help to deter incidents while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, dock doors, parking areas, warehouse perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

* Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity according to post instructions.

* Complete required reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, deliveries, and/or observations while following site procedures and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

* Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
