Security Supervisor - Day Shift

Position Summary

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Security Supervisor — Day Shift.

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have an active driver's license
• Must have six months of security supervisor experience
• Must hold a state security license and complete 32 hr. BSIS security trainings (additional trainings may be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• First‑aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
• Prior security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is preferred

• Site location:
  Milpitas, CA
• Full‑time, 40 hours per week; schedule:
  Friday–Tuesday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Competitive hourly wage of $21.50 per hour (Daily Pay available)

• Supervise the security team on the assigned shift
• Train new officers
• Help manage schedules, ensuring zero dark posts during the shift
• Act as liaison between staff and management to ensure client security requirements are met
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

• State security license and 32 hr. BSIS trainings (additional training may be provided)

• Minimum six months experience as a security supervisor
• First‑aid certification a plus
• Physical ability to stand and walk for whole shift
• Security, military, or law‑enforcement background a plus
