Security Officer HS Diploma Patrol – Milpitas, CA (Part‑Time)

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Job Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors while following site protocols for identification and visitor processing.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations, and by maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation subject to all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• License requirements subject to state/local laws; valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
