The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Review project specifications and blueprints to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects based on analysis of project scope
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate estimates
• Track and analyze project costs to identify areas for improvement
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Estimate residential and commercial insurance losses in accordance with insurance and industry guidelines
• Create an agreed upon scope of work with insurance carriers and adjusters
• Sell our construction services to prospective customers

Required

• 3+ years experience in the construction industry
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Exceptional organizational and multi‑tasking skills

Preferred

• Property claim experience a plus

This is a combination in‑field/office position that requires frequent travel to and from active jobsites. Jobsites may contain asbestos, microbial growth, lead, or other hazardous materials; personal protective equipment or PPE will be provided.

Jobsites may or may not have electricity; expect to work in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

This position will typically require the employee to stand or walk for extended periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor. Expect to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items often for this position.
