We are looking for 2 Facilities Maintenance Technicians with our client in Milpitas, California. These are full-time, onsite roles.

The Technicians maintain the facility at a fully operational level, including HVAC systems, physical structure, plumbing, grounds, alarms, fire sprinklers, structures, forklifts, vehicles, and equipment moves.

These positions support overall business operations through the continual upkeep, maintenance, effective operation, and improvement of facilities and manufacturing equipment in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a schedule of planned activities to ensure on-time completion of all maintenance and facility tasks.
  • Assist the Maintenance department with the repair, installation, adjustment, and maintenance of complex industrial production equipment and machinery.
  • Manage the environmental program, including hazardous material inventory and storage, recycling program, and e-waste reporting to the EHS Manager.
  • Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment and facility systems.
  • Ensure the facility remains safe and compliant at all times.
  • Assist with installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
  • Repair, rebuild, or upgrade equipment, machines, or systems using appropriate techniques and tools to meet safety codes and standards.
  • Perform facility maintenance and upkeep by coordinating with outside contractors and applying skills in painting, woodworking, and plumbing, with support from the maintenance team as needed.
  • Manage the waste diversion program and complete tracking and reporting of all diverted waste.
  • Keep hazardous chemical inventory current and maintain up-to-date SDS files.
  • Create and maintain all department reporting matrices.
