Operating across high-volume civil, utility, and sitework projects in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, our firm depends on a fluid supply chain to maintain project velocity.

This is not a routine desk job; it is a high‑impact role designed for a master multitasker who can bridge the gap between office executives and field operations. You will hold complete operational authority over the daily tracking and scheduling of commercial haul trucks, heavy equipment, raw materials, and field crews across concurrent jobsites. Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Schedule Control:
Coordinate and schedule comprehensive daily dispatch activities for heavy machinery, dump trucks, aggregate materials, and specialized field crews.
  • Cross‑Functional Communication:
Serve as the central communication hub, connecting project managers, superintendents, and field foremen with haul drivers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Dynamic Route & Schedule Adjustment:
Monitor field operations in real‑time, modifying schedules on the fly to adapt to changing project timelines, weather shifts, and mechanical variables.
  • Asset Tracking & Utilization:
Monitor heavy equipment utilization metrics, asset tracking systems, delivery timing, and haul routes to maximize operational efficiency and eliminate downtime.
  • Heavy Equipment Mobilization:
Orchestrate equipment hauling and demobilization sequences between active jobsites, managing equipment transport schedules, routing parameters, and municipal permit acquisition.
  • Travel & Per Diem Logistics:
Arrange regional hotel accommodations and workforce travel logistics for out‑of‑town project crews while auditing per diem tracking metrics against company policy.
  • Compliance & Fleet Auditing:
Monitor driver compliance with DOT requirements, safety protocols, and company fleet mandates while assisting with routine vehicle maintenance scheduling and availability logs.
  • Data Administration Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive electronic logs of all dispatch activities, load weights, and active equipment locations to provide utilization reports for Project Managers.
What You Need To Success (Qualifications)
  • Linguistic Fluency:
Must be completely bilingual in verbal and written English and Spanish to ensure clear communication with a diverse field crew, subcontractor network, and office team.
  • Execution & Calm Under Pressure:
Outstanding organizational discipline with the verified ability to balance multiple shifting priorities calmly and professionally in a high‑urgency setting.
  • Technology Infrastructure:
Strong technical acumen with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Communication & Negotiation:
Elite interpersonal skills required to give clear directions to field personnel and build solid working relationships with suppliers and freight vendors.

  • Prior professional experience in dispatching, transport logistics, heavy civil construction, or industrial fleet routing operations.
  • Hands‑on familiarity with modern digital dispatching software, GPS tracking networks, or fleet management databases.
  • Functional knowledge of heavy construction machinery, dirt/aggregate hauling operations, and legal equipment weight limit restrictions.
