What you will do:

Provide support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring compliance with Fostering Services National Minimum Standards 2011 and Regulations 2011. Recruit, assess, and support foster carers to ensure safe and high-quality placements for children and young people. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and case files in line with current legislation and organisational policies. Collaborate with local authorities, ensuring the needs of looked-after children are met through well-matched placements.

Lead and contribute to training sessions and support groups for foster carers. Undertake out of hours on-call duties on a rota basis, offering support during crises. Ensure rigorous safeguarding measures are in place, completing risk assessments and necessary documentation. Participate in business development through attending meetings and contributing to the implementation of the business plan. Oldham is an amazing place to live and work.
