Kitchen Assistant

Our kitchen team at Mountview is a huge part of care home life. As a Kitchen Assistant you will assist the Cook in planning and preparing a variety of meals that are appealing, nutritious and centred around our residents’ preferences, dietary requests and requirements. You will also help ensure that the dining experience exceeds our residents’ expectations at every mealtime and keep our state‑of‑the‑art kitchen facilities up to high standards.

• Assist the Cook in menu planning, ingredient preparation and meal assembly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and kitchen equipment.
• Support the delivery of meals to residents, ensuring timely service.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Participate in food safety and safeguarding training as required.
