Electrical Supervisor
LocationHMP Woodhill, Tattenhoe Street, Milton Keynes, MK4 4DA
Salary£46,775.42 plus a 5% shift allowance for weekend working.
ContractFull time/Permanent
ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrical Supervisor, you will lead and manage a team of electricians and collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning and administration to ensure safe and reliable electrical services within the prison environment.
Qualifications- Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical and building services.
- Experience of supervising staff.
- Full driving licence preferably with D1.
- C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
- Certificate in BS7671 – The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition.
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.
