Plumber

Overview

Plumber role based in Milton Keynes for Mears Group, a leading UK provider of housing and care services. The position is full-time and permanent, 42.5 hours per week, with a salary up to £35,621.25 per annum, plus a company van and fuel card.

• Undertake a wide range of plumbing repair and maintenance tasks within occupied properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Reactive plumbing repairs including minor works and small repairs (e.g., leaking taps, plumbing systems).
• Changing baths and carrying out basic plumbing installations.
• Work independently on most jobs, with support from colleagues on larger works.
• Use a handheld device to record works, timesheets and photographic evidence.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to required standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service and clear communication with residents.
• Adhere to all health and safety, quality and cost control requirements.

• NVQ qualification or proven experience in plumbing.
• Experience of working within social housing environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, friendly and customer-focused approach.
