Plumber, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Annual salary: up to £35,621.25
About the roleAs a Plumber you will work with Milton Keynes City Council, providing a stable and profitable contract. You will deliver excellent service and support through local teams, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities- Reactive plumbing repairs, including minor works.
- Small repairs such as leaking taps and plumbing systems.
- Change baths and perform basic plumbing installations.
- Work independently on most jobs, with support from colleagues on larger works.
- Use a handheld device to record works, timesheets and photographic evidence.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to required standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service and clear communication with residents.
- Adhere to all health and safety, quality and cost control requirements.
- NVQ qualification or proven experience in plumbing.
- Experience of working within social housing environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
