Plumber – Milton Keynes

The role is based in Milton Keynes and offers a full‑time, permanent position with a 42.5 hour work week (8am–5pm Monday–Friday). The annual salary is up to £35,621.25, plus a company van and fuel card.

You will work with Milton Keynes City Council under a stable, profitable contract, providing plumbing repair and maintenance services across occupied properties. Your responsibilities include:

• Reactive plumbing repairs, including minor works
• Small repairs such as leaking taps and plumbing systems
• Changing baths and carrying out basic plumbing installations
• Working independently on most jobs, with support from colleagues on larger works
• Using a handheld device to record works, timesheets and photographic evidence
• Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment to required standards
• Ensuring excellent customer service and clear communication with residents
• Adhering to all health and safety, quality and cost control requirements

• NVQ qualification or proven experience in plumbing
• Experience of working within social housing environments
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
