General Operative, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Annual salary: up to £28,186.33 per annum.

Location:

Milton Keynes.

We are seeking a General Operative to support ground workers and trade colleagues in delivering high quality repairs and refurbishment across occupied housing properties in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.

• Work alongside ground workers and other trades.
• Mix cement and load materials such as bricks.
• Sweep, tidy, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist other trades as required.
• Undertake construction, repair and maintenance tasks to agreed standards.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are followed at all times.
• Use a handheld device to complete worksheets, timesheets and record works.
• Collect and manage materials and van stock as required.

• Knowledge and experience within construction.
• Understanding of building materials.
• Experience working in occupied homes.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Commitment to high standards of health and safety.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.
• Entitlement to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship.
